Wether it’s an easy train ride from Campo Di Carne station, or you drive by car, Rome is less than an hour from Villa Sonia. So, why not combine a beach vacation or pool relaxation with a trip to the Eternal City?
Directions

The easiest way to get to Rome city center is by train. There is a regional train from Campo Di Carne that goes directly to Roma Termini in 40min, Rome’s central station. Campo Di Carne offers a large parking area next to the station. Train tickets can be booked in advance (see Useful Links) and cost a whopping 6 euro for a return ticket.
If you like to drive by car to Rome, we recommend parking around the Colosseum, since it is a fairly convenient drive and avoids to busy streets of the city center. Book your parking spot in advance (see Useful Links), because parking is a real challenge! Avoid driving on a Sunday afternoon, when Romans are heading back to the city after spending a weekend at the coast.
